During my recent stay at Miguel Torga Room in Coimbra, I experienced a blend of value and comfort that is worth sharing with fellow travelers. The lodge provides essential amenities, including a clean bathroom equipped with free toiletries and reliable heating-ideal for a cozy retreat, especially during cooler nights. I appreciated the ease of the contact-free check-in and check-out process, which was smooth and efficient. My first room featured a mini-fridge and a coffeemaker, with tea and coffee readily available. I faced some challenges locating the hotel, as there were no clear signs indicating where the rooms were. Despite this, the friendly local neighbors came to my assistance, which highlighted the community spirit surrounding the area. The second room offered more space and kitchenware, including a two-ring stove, ideal for preparing meals with groceries from nearby shops. While there were minor inconveniences such as inconsistent heating and a missing TV, the experience ultimately provided good value for the price paid.
